The one main shortcoming of the paper at the moment is that I’m not convinced you’re really addressed the central element of Carr’s argument. He doesn’t worry about the internet damaging our ability to memorize, but rather our ability to read deeply. I think that you can successfully rebut this notion, but you’ll need to acknowledge and respond to it more directly than you have so far.
