Write about a disorder or disease due to a genetic mutation or malfunction in gene expression. Your first paragraph should include scientific background on the disorder…what is the mutation, is it inherited, who is affected, how the disease/disorder manifests itself (i.e. signs and symptoms), what organs/organ systems it affects and what sort of malfunction the mutation causes.
