For your initial post, examine the skills to identify, evaluate, and resolve complex policy issues in cybersecurity, port security, and border security. Differentiate homeland security objectives addressed through the Aviation and Transportation Security Act of 2001 versus those associated with the Container Security Initiative as discussed in Martin (2015). In addition, evaluate the ethical and legal issues that arise in response to the content and implementation of each of these measures. Take a position on which area, port security or cybersecurity, presents a comparatively more substantial homeland security risk. Compare and contrast response methods for port security with response methods for border security. Finally, provide at least one example of international security coordination within the context of either port security or border security.
