  During this week, students will begin a brief survey of some lesser known Intergovernmental organizations, key nongovernmental organizations.

• Learning Objective
  

  9-1 Conduct a brief survey of the International Labour Organization (ILO), a specialized UN intergovernmental organization.
  9-2 Conduct a brief survey of Nongovernmental Organizations that specialize in international Disaster Relief.

  Browse the official Website above for the International Labour Organization (ILO); identify its Purpose, its key unifying principles found in its Constitution, and identify TWO of its most important current programmes. Also explain what is different and unique about the organization of its membership.

• Search for Nongovernmental Organizations (NGOs) That Specialize in International Disaster Relief
  

  Conduct a Google Search to find Nongovernmental Organizations that specialize in international Disaster Relief. Make a list of THREE international NGOs..
