Leaders and managers do have overlapping functions when it comes to each other roles in an organization. For you to become a leader you must have the skill set and quality to manage. If you are a manager, you must have leadership skills to manage a company or organization. As for myself when I was in high school, I played a lot of sports when I was the caption.
